Creamy Vegan Pea Dip

Here is a creamy Vegan Pea Dip recipe

Ingredients :

2 cups green fresh peas

1/4 cup tahini

2 tablespoons lemon juice

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste


  1. If using frozen peas, cook them according to the package instructions until tender. If using fresh peas, blanch them in boiling water for 2-3 minutes until bright green and slightly tender. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a food processor or blender, combine the cooked peas, tahini, lemon juice, minced garlic, cilantro, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, add a little water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until desired consistency is reached.
  4. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed, adding more salt, pepper, or lemon juice if desired.
  5. Transfer the pea dip to a serving bowl. If desired, garnish with chopped fresh herbs, a drizzle of olive oil, or a sprinkle of paprika.
  6. Serve the dip with your favorite veggies, pita bread, or crackers.
  7. Enjoy your creamy vegan pea dip !
