4-week Vegan European cuisine

Embark on a plant-based adventure across Europe, exploring diverse regional flavors and culinary traditions. This 4-week program is designed for food lovers and aspiring chefs who want to learn how to create vibrant, delicious, and authentic vegan dishes from Europe’s neighboring countries. Each week will focus on a different European region, with each day dedicated to a different country.

Week 1 – Southwestern Europe

  • Day 1 – France: Discover the rich flavors of French vegan cuisine, including classic ratatouille, vegan croissants, and French onion soup.
  • Day 2 – Spain: Dive into the world of Spanish tapas, paella, and gazpacho—all plant-based.
  • Day 3 – Portugal: Explore hearty Portuguese dishes like caldo verde, vegan pastéis de nata, and Portuguese stews.
  • Day 4 – Italy (Northwest regions, e.g., Liguria or Piedmont): Taste plant-based Italian classics such as vegan risotto, pasta, and pesto.
  • Day 5 – Switzerland: Vegan Alpine-inspired dishes like rösti, vegan fondue, and Swiss-style pastries.

Week 2 – Central Europe

  • Day 1 – Germany: Reimagine traditional German dishes with a vegan twist—vegan schnitzel, pretzels, and apple strudel.
  • Day 2 – Austria: Dive into vegan Austrian comfort food, like spätzle, vegan apfelstrudel, and hearty soups.
  • Day 3 – Czech Republic: Comfort foods like vegan svíčková, goulash, and Czech dumplings.
  • Day 4 – Slovakia: Explore vegan variations of Slovakian specialties such as bryndzové halušky and Slovakian stews.
  • Day 5 – Hungary: Enjoy plant-based versions of Hungarian favorites like goulash, lángos, and vegan paprikash.

Week 3 – Northern Europe

  • Day 1 – United Kingdom: Explore British vegan classics like shepherd’s pie, vegan fish & chips, and afternoon tea.
  • Day 2 – Ireland: Discover hearty, vegan-friendly Irish dishes such as vegan shepherd’s pie, Irish soda bread, and vegetable stew.
  • Day 3 – Denmark: Taste plant-based Nordic flavors, including Danish smørrebrød and vegan versions of cinnamon buns.
  • Day 4 – Sweden: Vegan Swedish meatballs, gravlax, and the famous Swedish cinnamon buns (kanelbullar).
  • Day 5 – Norway: Enjoy plant-based Norwegian dishes like vegan rømmegrøt, soups, and potato-based specialties.

  • Day 4 – Romania: Traditional Romanian dishes made vegan, including sarmale, vegan mici, and pumpkin pie.
